Holy Week and Easter, March 23
In celebration of Holy Week, on Maundy Thursday, March 20, we will be holding a Worship Service of Candles and Readings beginning at 6:45 p.m.  This Tenebrae service will feature Holy Communion, prayer, Taize chants, and readings that progress from the Shadow of Betrayal to Death and the ceremony of extinguishing candles in remembrance of Jesus' last days.

On Good Friday, March 21, the congregation is invited to join other downtown church members for a noon worship service at First Christian Church, 1315 SW Park Avenue.

                       Easter Sunday
Easter comes early this year.  We will celebrate this holy day with two services. 

An Outdoor Service will begin on the Arcade in front of the church at 8:00 a.m.  This service will include communion, a sermon, and Easter hymns.

Our 10:25 a.m. Service will include Brass and Special Music, as well as Easter activities for the children.  Rev. Dr. Patricia Ross' sermon is entitled "Resurrection Now".  Wonderful choral music with brass and the reception of new members will be featured.
